1. Who we are
AfikShift is operated by THE MHM NEXUS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16762622), registered office: Enterprise Centre, Cranborne Road, Potters Bar, England, EN6 3DQ. Contact: contactus@afikshift.com.
2. AfikShift Pro subscriptions
AfikShift Pro is planned with the following recurring subscription options (not yet available for purchase):
- AfikShift Pro Monthly – £3.99 per month, renewing automatically every month.
- AfikShift Pro 6-Month – £19.99 every six months, renewing automatically every six months.
Purchases are not currently enabled. The price, billing period and renewal terms will be shown before any future purchase.
3. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals. Your Pro access ordinarily remains available until the end of your current paid billing period, after which your account returns to the Free plan. Your records are not deleted because you cancel.
Please cancel through the store or payment provider you used to subscribe:
- Aptoide: in the Aptoide app or your Aptoide wallet, under your subscriptions.
- Google Play (when available): Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → AfikShift → Cancel.
Uninstalling the app or deleting your AfikShift account does not by itself cancel a store subscription. If you need help, email contactus@afikshift.com.
4. Your statutory cancellation rights
If you are a consumer in the UK, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 usually give you the right to cancel an online contract within 14 days. For a subscription, the 14 days normally run from the day the contract is made.
Digital services
Where AfikShift Pro is supplied as a digital service, you may still cancel within the 14-day period even if you asked for the service to start straight away. In that case, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the service supplied up to the time you told us you were cancelling, and refund the rest.
Digital content
Where something is supplied as digital content (not on a physical medium), the law allows the 14-day cancellation right to end once supply has begun, but only if you gave your express consent to supply starting during the cancellation period, you acknowledged that you would lose your right to cancel, and we (or the store) confirmed this to you. If these conditions are not met, your right to cancel continues for the full 14 days.
Simply opening or using the app does not, on its own, mean you lose your cancellation rights.
Faulty or misdescribed services and content
Separately from the 14-day right, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you rights if a service is not performed with reasonable care and skill, or if digital content is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose. Depending on the circumstances, these may include a repair, a replacement, a price reduction or a refund.
To exercise a cancellation right, contact the store you purchased through, or email us with a clear statement that you wish to cancel (see section 6).
5. Refunds
- We do not offer an additional voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee beyond your legal rights.
- We will provide refunds wherever they are required by applicable UK consumer law, including the rights described in section 4.
- Apart from that, payments for billing periods that have already started are not normally refunded, including for part-used periods after cancellation.
- In exceptional circumstances, we may approve a discretionary refund, decided case by case. For example, if you were charged in error or charged twice.
Free Pro time from referrals or promotions has no cash value and cannot be refunded or exchanged.
6. How to request a cancellation or refund
Subscriptions bought through an app store are billed by that store, and refunds are normally issued through it under its procedures:
- Aptoide: contact Aptoide support from the app or wallet.
- Google Play: request a refund through Google Play.
You can also email contactus@afikshift.com with your account email address, the purchase date and the store order number. We aim to reply within 2 working days and will help you with the store where we can. Where a refund is due, it will be made using the original payment method, without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of us agreeing that it is due.
7. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts your statutory rights as a consumer. If you live outside the UK, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
